The core of our form: Active digital experience:
- Most of our interaction will be based on displays
- The use of technology can make art more interactive, immersive and exciting for the users
- Making a physical installation would be probably too much effort and not result in something pretty
- More options interaction-wise, like headphones, displays, VR, projectors etc..
- Even if we choose to incorporate the other two themes (Interactive physical installation, Passive immersive experience), the digital domain would be our focus.
Installation ideas:
- Mix between digital, physical, and interactive experience.
- Dark room with a screen
- Astronaut helmet
- Difficult to create complete darkness?
- Tinted glasses on the helmet, 3D or blue tint for extra darkness/immersion?
- Tents? Keep in mind max. 4x3m size
- Zoom out from atom on one screen, zoom out from Earth on the other, signalling our significance/insignificance
- Projector inside tent to mimick stars
- Interaction 1: seeing the other side
- Interaction 2: choosing to stay or leave space
- VR?
- Tent with multiple compartments (like intro, interaction, outro)
